EaT leSs rICe

 

 

The human body was never meant to consume rice! You see, our genes have hardly changed in 30,000 years. However, our food choices and lifestyle have changed dramatically. The caveman would hardly recognise our food or our way of life.

Caveman food was never cooked as fire was not yet tamed. Thus, he ate only those foods that you can eat w/o treatment w/ or by fire..He ate fruits, veggies, fish (sushi anyone?), eggs, nuts and meats. Yes even meat! You can eat meat raw if you were starving in the forest. You have the necessary enzymes to digest meat..

However, rice, like wheat and corn, cannot be eaten raw. It must be cooked. Even if you were starving in the desert, you cannot eat rice in the raw form. This is because we do not have the system of enzymes to break it down. Actually, rice and other grains are far worse than sugar. These are the reasons:

RICE BECOMES SUGAR!

This is a fact that no nutritionist can deny-Rice is chemically no different from sugar. One bowl of cooked rice is the caloric value of 10 tsps of sugar! This does not matter whether it is white, brown or herbal. Brown rice is richer in fibre, some B vitamins and minerals but it is still the caloric value of 10 tsps of sugar.

RICE IS DIGESTED TO BECOME SUGAR

Rice cannot be digested before it is thoroughly cooked. However, when cooked, it becomes sugar and spikes circulating blood sugar w/in half an hour.

RICE HAS NO FIBRE

Since white rice has no fibre, you end up eating lots of calorie dense food before you get filled up. Brown rice has more fibre but still the same amount of sugar.

RICE IS ALWAYS THE MAIN PART OF THE MEAL

While sugar may fill your dessert or sweeten yor coffee, it will never be the main part of any meal. You could eat maybe two to three teaspoons of sugar at one meal. However, you could easily eat the equal value of two to three bowls (20-30 tsps) of sugar in one meal.

RICE IS TASTELESS-SUGAR IS SWEET

There is only so much that you can eat at one sitting. How many tsps of sugar can you eat before throwing up? Could you imagine eating 10 tsps of sugar n one seating?

EATING RICE CAUSES YOU TO DRINK LESS WATER

The more rice you eat, the less water you drink. As rice is tasteless, it tends to end up in other foods that substitute like rice flour, noodles and bread. We tend to eat the hidden forms which still get digested into sugar.

RICE PREVENTS THE ABSORPTION OF SEVERAL VITAMINS AND MINERALS

Rice when taken in bulk will reduce the absorption of vital nutrients like zinc, iron and the B vitamins.

Are you a rice addict? Eating less rice could be a lot easier than you think. If you have problems with digestion, try skipping rice for a few meals and you will be amazed at how the problem will just go away.

I'M BACK!!

Well after 3 months of no yaya, it's a good thing that someone recommended me 2. I can now go back to my regular exercise. I started yesterday with 15 mins of elliptical machine. Today, I just did 10 mins weight lifting (6 lb each) and 10 mins elliptical. I will just take it slow until I'm used to it again.
 
Guys, I do have a problem, I''m having irregular menstruation, I tested already and I'm not pregnant but my last menstruation is feb 4. after 2 weeks, i had spotting for 3 days, but until now there's none na. Hayyz I will see my doctor soon but I'm afraid of what would be the reason behind it. ^_^

Guess what guys?! I managed to lose weight even if I didn't do my exercises..hehe Actually, for the reason that I don't have yaya and maid, doing household chores and babysitting plus managing our business. It's been a month already with no exercise and not much restraining on food..I eat what I want but I'm used to eating smaller quantities than before and I don't put much sugars on coffee.. So yehey! I thought I'd forever stucked to 117 lbs ( coz it's been 2 months din ha) but now, with not much effort, I'm back to my original goal of 115. ^_^

  Lunch 2 pizzas (Shakeys)
  Snack hotdog sandwich
  Dinner rice, mapo tauho, siomai, raddish cake and chicken feet

Slimming 18 diet coffee

A friend of mine offered me to drink this product. She told me that it has no side effects and when you drink atleast 10 sachets, you will lose 5 lbs and it costs 300 to 350 per box which is 18 sachets. Well, after several questioning regarding that coffee, I learned that it is really bad.. I even knew who's the manufacturer of that pala! They even gave me 135 per box! And guess what I learned about that? They just put the slimming powder from the capsules to the coffee! and voila! diet coffee! It is so bad and the manufacturer doesn't even drink their own products!! Well, I really don't believe in instant slimming products.. We just have to have a healthy lifestyles to attain it.

Hayy speaking of my exercise program, I think I have to stop for a while, I dont have a yaya na.. So hard to look for one. The last three I have pinalayas ng husband ko, chismis chismis kasi..  My main exercise right now is to clean the house lang and take care of my babies. That's why I dont gain nor lose weight. I'm stuck to 53 kgs so I need to loose a few pounds pa.
