Hi fellow belles! Well, jumping rope is not for me. My foot always hurt so finally, I give in to go to gym. Gold's gym has a promo until yesterday, 800 per month and 96 visits a year. So, it's only 100 a visit. I have a question, in doing threadmill, is it better to do the uphill than the flat ones? I noticed that when it's uphill the calorie burned is higher than the normal ones, but of course, I'm doing it much slower than tha flat ones which i can really run. Is the threadmill's calorie counter true or not? Will I burn more calories with the uphill but slower than the flat ones which I think is more intense because I'm running?

Those calorie counters just give approximate figures. It'd be slightly more precise if you had entered your height and weight before the calculation, but if not, then it's just a very rough estimate.
You know what, just do what feels comfortable for you. I'd actually suggest that you try out the elliptical trainer rather than the treadmill—I personally don't like the strain on the calves and knees that comes from running or the treadmill. If you don't like the elliptical trainer, then go ahead and take up the treadmill again. You're pretty lucky you got a good deal at a gym membership. =)
