 Eating Eggs Promotes Satiety?

I was never fond of eggs, but since the program is singing its praises, I decided to look around and check what was up with it.

Here's what I found. Not only can we eat eggs everyday (as part of a healthy diet of course), but this new study tells us that eating eggs for breakfast promotes satiety and weight loss.

Poached Eggs

Pretty amazing huh? I suppose this doesn't mean that we simply add an egg to our breakfast and expect to lose weight. I think coupled with a healthy diet and regular exercise, eggs can definitely help make you trimmer and more fit. Why else would all the trainers in my gym recommend it? My father, who is in his fifties, eats an egg every morning. Fried, scrambled, soft, poached-- you name it, he'll eat it. He's as fit as an ox. Of course, he also exercises everyday for three hours, doing lots of cardio and resistance training.

Eggs are cheap, found everywhere, and are easy to cook.  Although my favorite egg dish is the fritata (because I can barely taste the egg), I will make an effort to start incorporating more eggs into my breakfast.

And when I mean breakfast, I don't mean tapsilog, hotsilog, and their ilk. Yes, they're yummy, but all that frying won't help. Do you guys have an healthy egg recipes to share?

you're welcome chubchub! Oh I forgot to tell you that it is best to go with a sauce somewhat related to that sauce of tempura or just the sweet and sour chili sauce available in supermarkets..yummy!

That sounds rich! I love it! Perhaps a little weekend indulgence is in order! Thank you Dapple!

If I may suggest, try to mix all purpose flour and egg and season it with salt and pepper or any herbs plus a little water to make a batter then dip vegetables into it before frying using olive oil...
