summer goal

hihihi.....all this time, i was shy to go to belletoday cos i kept asking questions abt badminton and gym but i did not go through with those plans.... but i still tryed to make improvements to my food like stopping ice tea, softdrinks, fraps.... i also try nto to order unhealthy things like fried siomai too often and i try to cut back on desserts and rice. i still need to eat rice so that i can feel full!!! then i just drink plenty of water. i still find it hard to exercise regularly after work so what i do now is i wake up earlier by 30 mins so i can walk more before i arrive at the office.
since january i lost 3 lbs!!! im so happy...it can motivate me to finally stay with exercising often. i put a picture of summer as my profile pic because thats my goal.....to look good for the beach!!! no more shirts and shorts, i want to try a bathing suit for once!!!

badminton!!!!

no work today because of martin luther king day in the states. the badminton game with my teammates finally pushed through! we went to powersmash in pasong tamo after work on saturday... there were 10 of us so we used two wood courts only because all the taraflex courts were already being used. one court had the beginners like me to practice, and the other court was where the more experienced badminton players played real games.
we were able to play for 2 hrs, most of our practice was just trying to hit the shuttlecock back and forth to get used to the swings and improve our hand-eye coordination. it took some time to get used to it but its quick to pick up the pace eventually...mabilis masanay. we weren't as active as the experienced players in the other court but it felt good and tiring to be moving around alot. that meant i had to drink plenty of water during my breaks. i brought my coleman from when i was still in school hihihi.
my teammates who knew how to play already also taught us how to serve and the rules and scoring but i still find the scoring confusing even if we were able to play a few doubles matches. we were made up of teams of 1 beginner plus 1 experienced player. my teammate and i lost our game, 21-16 but its ok, we all had fun anyway and i was able to score a few points for us hihi. we were all very hungry afterwards so we went to the chowking at waltermart where i ordered boneless bangus rice chow...at least its fish. can't wait to do it again!
