Anxious About Maintaining What Ive Already Reached

I hit my ideal weight... i did it!!!

I know, but it does not end there... I am now into a new challenge - - - how to maintain it!!!

This is something that's kinda making me anxious... i think, it is harder to maintain what I have reached already... so, to lessen the anxiety that i have, i gave myself somewhat a weight range, i feel that a little up and down would be alright... (am I right???)... i feel i could go up and down from 110 - 114 but reaching 115lbs should be a no-no already for me...

I hope, some of you could help me with this anxiety i am experiencing...

Done on my THIRD WEEK...

I am just so glad that I've made it... am done on my third week (6th session) of being an aero-taebo instructress in a community/subdivision nearby our place...

It wasn't easy though... as instructress, you have to really show everyone the proper way of doing the exercises, counting the sets you have to do, explain what the exercise/s is targeting, checking how everyone is doing, reminding everyone to breath and their proper posture, checking if you are on or out of the beat, and think of the next exercise that you will do after what you are doing... whew!!!

What's more, you have to make sure that what you are giving your students is not only your best but also, you have to make sure that everyone is having a great time...

Besides the routine I am doing and the music I am using, I also put variety of moves... aero, tae-bo, pretend movements, and a lot of dancing from hiphop to ballroom steps...

I bet, somehow, everything seems working well... my students from the first day are still attending and the number of attendees is increasing... i noticed also that they say goodbye to me with gratefulness and big smiles...

Running Etiquette for Beginners

source:

Pay for Your Spot
Running in a race you haven't entered, also called "banditting", is not fair to race organizers, volunteers, and especially the people who have paid to participate. It's also unsafe, since race organizers plan their course amenities, such as water and sports drinks, and medical assistance based on the number of people who have signed up for the race. And overcrowded race conditions can lead to falls and other problems.

Line Up Properly
Nothing is more annoying to a runner at the start of a race than having to weave around slower runners after the gun goes off. Faster runners should line up at the front of the starting line, slower runners and walkers at the back. Some races have corrals based on estimated pace or post pace signs. If not, ask runners nearby their anticipated pace, and if it’s faster than yours, move further back. Most races use timing chips, so the time it takes you to reach the starting line won't count in your final net time.

Don't Jingle
Don't carry loose change or a set of keys in your pocket. They'll annoy those who are running near you.

Don't Take Up the Whole Road
If you're running with a group, try not to run more than two abreast, so others can pass you.

Show Appreciation to Volunteers
Say "Thank You!" to race volunteers who hand you water or put your medal around your neck. They're volunteering their time and the race would not be successful without them.

Thank Supporters, Too
Acknowledge supporters who cheer for you as you pass them. If you're too tired to say "thanks," show them a smile, wave, or give them a thumbs up. It will make them feel good and encourage them to keep rooting for others.

Be Careful at Water Stations
Water stations can get a bit chaotic and crowded. Use caution when running into a water stop and make sure you're not cutting off other runners or spilling water on them. If you're going to stop or slow down to walk through the water stop, make sure there's not a runner behind you.

Keep Moving at the Finish
Don't immediately stop at the finish line or in the chute. There will be runners coming in right behind you, so keep going until it’s safe to come to a stop.

Don't Be a Glutton
Don't take more than your fair share of food and drinks at the finish line. The back of the pack runners will appreciate it when there are still enough goodies for them at the end.

Never in my wildest dream...

This excites me... to share this simple yet one of a kind event (should i call it event?) that is happening in my life... so overwhelming that I dunno where to start... the happiness is really pouring!!!

Alright, let me start it now!!!

I have never been physically active in my entire life... meaning, i am not into any sport that I would call my own... I tried swimming, lawn tennis, badminton.... and they seemed not to fit that well to me...

Just this February 2009, I joined aero-taebo class in a nearby gym since I am already tired of doing it on my own at home... my motivation is to shed some more pounds!!!

After awhile, the high impact aero-taebo is not giving me so much excitement anymore but of course, I have to keep myself going because of the benefit I am getting into it... what i did? I bought a pair of handwrap so I can hit the punching bag while I follow the routine... the result is that i enjoy it so much that i release a lot of negative energies (stress) !!!

So AERO-TAEBO class is a 2-in-1 activity for me:

shed pounds & release stress!!!

BUT THERE IS SOMETHING MORE!!!!

It became 2-in-1+1(sounds like I am riding to an ice cream ads, huh, hehehe)

Anyway, WHY SO 2-in-1+1?

Because I am now getting few bucks from it.

YES!!! I am into teaching AERO-TAEBO!!!

I love the feeling more than the few bucks!!! It is self-fulfilling that I reach-out to people and share what I enjoy... while I am shedding some pounds, being inspired to be healthier, I also have few bucks to buy some rewards for myself and I call these few bucks VERY HARD EARNED MONEY... (think of the routine for more than an hour doing it infront of everyone while you count, explaining what the exercise for, and thinking of the next exercise...)

yes, very tiring... but worth-tiring for!!!
