Day 1 of the BT "no sweets" challenge

I didn't realize how much I relied on sweets to keep me generally hyper until yesterday! Turns out, giving up something sweet is so much harder than i thought. By mid-afternoon I was already looking for something tasty to snack on and choosing something made it even harder for me when I had to go down to the canteen to meet a fridge full of the sweetest (and yummiest) drinks staring at me. buwiset.
Right after work, I admit i was already dying to have something sweet so I went looking for fruits in San Juan... which I did not find. I could not imagine having to go home and eat something salty AGAIN. :)) The relief came when I saw a bunch of bananas smiling at me on our kitchen counter.
Today, I've come well prepared for the 2nd day's challenge and have a banana sitting happily by my side. I could really use oranges tho!
