
I can't believe we're on Day 5!! It went by faster than we imagined. I think 5 days without sweets has taught me a lot and im glad that we decided to do this. It's one thing to spontaneously challenge ourselves, but there's nothing like actually doing so with a group. We get competitive and just knowing that there are people who are doing this along side you actually pushes you to want to do better.
Now, just because we've voluntarily deprived ourselves of sweets for 5 days, this doesn't mean that we'll be bingeing. Like Dr. Jean-Michel Cohen of The Bon Appetit Diet says, have a bite but always do so in moderation.
This challenge was a lot of fun. What made it even better were the very honest testimonials. It was obvious that it was not easy, but this is what a challenge is all about - stepping out of our comfort zones. I can't wait for the next challenge. I really hope to see more belles in the next one!
