 An Orange for A Banana - Day 2 (BT Challenge)

WOOOHH!! :) I never imagined how good oranges could taste when you've been wanting them for a day and a half! Day 2 on the challenge went by a lot smoother than the first day, because I came ready. However, all I had was a banana (which I honestly did not want) which i traded with Karen for orange slices. YUM!

I guess what I'm realizing today is that I've gotten so used to being handed things and having desserts like cake, cookies, muffins, etc that I've actually taken for granted the most natural sweeteners given to us by mother nature. I also haven't really appreciated the taste of oranges, bananas,  and mangoes as well as I have in these past two days.

The fruits are perfect in our weather actually. They can make you feel so fresh in the middle of a warm afternoon, or just quench your thirst for sweets instantly like it has for me today. I can't wait to be able to taste iced tea or coke or CAKE for that matter. But for as long as I have my fruits, I truly will survive!

I have yet to figure out how to get through Day 3!
