The Last Stretch of the 7x7 Challenge

Friday finished with more than 8000 steps. This made up for my 6000+ steps on Thursday which I swore I would make up for and did! However, Saturday didn't gain me too many steps either. I was busy all day doing school work and I was seated most of the time. I tried to vary my routine by getting up to get water or to go to the restroom and even went out dancing with my friends. Before midnight on Saturday I only had 5000+ steps to show for my 6th day on the challenge.
After midnight, I continued to enjoy the night with friends pacing back and forth trying to gain me more steps to start the last day of day 7 right. Just when I had a good number of steps in, my friend lost her balance and stepped on me with her stiletto heel. #(*$^*#^(*#@&)!!! it hurt so much i cried in the middle of the dance floor. I sat down to ice my foot and stayed seated for a good 15 mins. The rest of the night went down okay. I was still able to put in a few steps because I didnt want my night to end on a sour note... but as soon as I woke up Sunday morning, my foot was swelling and it became so much harder for me to move. My family wanted to go to the mall and spend the afternoon shopping and i had to pass because i needed rest and my foot was turning purple. :(
I finished with about 4000+ steps thanks to all the tiny steps i had to make around the house and of course from the night before. I definitely could have done more, especially if i had gone to the mall, but I think an injured foot is a valid excuse right?
