3rd Place!

August 15, Saturday

Even if I only got to practice that one weekend, we still placed 3rd in the relay. Yay! :)  I was suuper tired after my leg though.  Think the adrenalin wore off around 40m, so bitin pa.  Hahaha!

So, I've been seeing several movies for the past two months, and I have to say, that the one that had the most impact was probably The Hangover.  I'm a big fan of comedy and that was one heck of a funny movie.  I was actually expecting a lot more crass remarks and toilet humor, but it was surprisingly tame.  Or maybe I've seen too much of those types of comedy already, that I'm don't get bothered by it anymore.

Anyway, I need some other form of exercise.  Our pilates class was cancelled this month. :s

Forgotten

August 5, Wednesday

Totally forgot to weigh in last Saturday!  I was too preoccupied at that time making sure I get to all my appointments on time.  I did, and I was pretty happy to have accomplished a lot of things that day.

But moving on, it's such a dreary day today.  I want to do so many things but it's like the weather's telling me to go back to bed and just sleep the entire day... or watch videos. Hahaha!

Let's see how I fare today.  Both in activities and food intake. Hehe.

Left Behind

Wednesday, July 29

It sucks when you get left behind, when there's a schedule to be followed and you're right on time.  I got left behind by our office shuttle because I went down on time.  Weird eh?  I was supposed to meet up my parents so they can treat me for a movie, but since I got left behind, I just went back up to my desk, logged in, and continued working.  Sigh.

I've been so sleepy for the past two weeks, even if I get a good number of hours of sleep.  I think the daily travel to and from the office is taking its toll.  For the past year, I lived 15 mins away (by walking) from my office so even if I stay in late, I still get at least 8 hours of sleep.  But eversince I went back home, I've been traveling for at least 3 hours every single day.  And I think it's starting to take its toll already.  Double sigh...

  Lunch spaghetti, avocado shake

I hate traffic

July 27, Monday

I haaate traffic.  I had to leave the house extra early since they closed down some roads in QC because of the SONA.  Left Makati around 6 thinking that by the time I get to QC, traffic would've died already.  But I was met by traffic in front of my office, along C5 and along Libis.

Then got a call from my mom that our area still had heavy traffic despite a) it was almost 8 pm and b) we don't really have much traffic in our area anymore since our roads are so wide.  Had to stop by Eastwood Mall to grab dinner (since I was super hungry) and to let the traffic die down.  Thank goodness for Cyma.  I just looove their spinach artichoke fondue.  After having that and a gyros for dinner, I was already quite happy.  Plus, there wasn't anymore traffic by that time (8:45).

I still hate traffic though.

Unproductive

July 18, Saturday

What an unproductive day.  I just slept and watched videos the entire day!!! After going home again at 3 am on Friday night/ Saturday morning, I felt like I don't want to do anything that involves a lot of movement anymore.  Hahaha!  The weather certainly didn't help me get up and about either.

Hopefully Sunday would be better.
