 Swimming is love

July 4, Saturday

I told myself I'd wake up early and swim.  And I did!  I swam a total of 1,000 meters in increments of 100m.  My arms and shoulders are burning though.  I guess that just means I need to work on my arms more.  I haven't swam (done laps) since early 2007 I think.  And that was only once.  Hahaha!  Before that, my last swim was 1st year college.  So I thought I woudn't be able to handle it, but I did, and I'm so happy.

But then of course, I can definitely feel the effects of not swimming.  After 100m, my arms were tired.  After 200m, my arms were dead tired.  Haha!  So I decided to take it easy and pace myself a little slower.  I would've wanted to continue, but there were so many kids coming in and it was hard to do laps with kids playing in the middle of the pool. 

Tomorrow, I'll be waking up earlier so I can do more laps (hopefully) and prepare myself for our upcoming sportsfest.

  my diet for today, Saturday, 4 July (Satisfactory)
  Breakfast tuna sandwich
  Lunch venti caramel coffee jelly frap
  Snack none
  Dinner still thinking about it. :P
