Rekindling an old flame

I have been boxing on and off for almost three years now. More off than on, actually (haha). Anyway, I recently joined a new boxing gym and I am loving the trainers. When I first started with them, I was so frustrated. Everything that I had learned at my old boxing gym was wrong. Even my stance!
I've been training jiu jitsu at my new gym for three months now and boxing about 3x a week for the past month. Already, I can see so much improvement. I never knew there was so much strategy involved when it came to boxing. All I knew before was: "hit as hard as you can" and "try not to get hit". Its as if every single move has a proper purpose-- and I am learning something new all the time now. I remember getting so bored with boxing.. but now I am beginning to love it again.
Right now, I'm in the process of correcting my jabs, straights and upper cut. I even took a video of my mitts session and still I see my right foot at the back tiptoeing as I make straight. There is so much to work on and I can't wait to fix it! Here's to my next boxing session!!!
