Work has been hectic lately as well as personal life. I've done some stress eating these weeks (thanks to allnighter work), but I'm happy to see this morning that the scale shown me I have lost 10 pounds @_@ Eh? Those mini elliptical machine sessions I sneak in between breaks must be working after all! To the elliptical machine!
Just tried out this very quick Spinerval video, made by my friend as a rough draft/concept for the gym in the company he's working for. Glad to have an excuse to workout early in the morning!
my diet for today, Friday, 4 November was...
Breakfast
2 grilled tuna sandwiches with pineapple
Dinner
tuna salad with pineapple, 2 whole wheat toast, 1/2 med papaya
As expected, days have been busier again. And next week's my Hell Week. I forgot to log my food diary yesterday, and I'm afraid I may fall off the habit again as days goes more hectic. I don't want that.
So I've bookmarked the Week One Programs (Meal Plan and Exercise) and put them on my browser tab so I will see it quickly and not forget.
My good bits of the week so far:Avoided soft drinks and iced tea. Been only drinking calamansi water, distilled water, and green tea. Getting 1L of water a day. Bought some of the recommended Shopping List items from Meal Plan.
Needs improvement:lack of exercise, working late at night (lack of good sleep)
After Monday, I was not able to workout because of lack of time. I'll strive to manage my time better now, and follow the BT exercise plans for Week One (Intermediate level) because they look easy. I'll give myself an hour and a half for both BT exercise and Oxycise. I'll substitue any 30 min walking activities for working out on my Elliptical Machine in my studio instead.
Tried it for the first time, this is fun! Eyeballing portions, for me, is a working knowledge.
Here are the 3 points I missed, and learned:
1) We can allow ourselves a cup of ice cream (even sherberts and frozen yogurts) a day; the equivalent is two tennis ball sized scoops.
2) A 42g of cheese is equivalent of 4 dices. Almost as much as 2 individually packed slices of cheese.
3) One handful is equivalent to 1/4 cup*. Use this as a guide for healthy snacks such as roasted nuts (which you can also make by lightly roasting raw nuts on a frying pan) For raisins, you'll need two handfuls :)
See more fun and nifty information by playing/answering the quiz! :)
