Day 32 - Is exercise bad for the sick?

I've withdrawn from my routine exercises since Sat... for I didn't have the energy..

Been suffering from coughing, sneezing and weak joints since day 28. I also lost my appetite... or could not do home cooked meals for I am afraid of sharing my virus...

I tried to do strengthening exercises last friday... thinking it would do me good/make me feel better the next day.. but it didn't. What if I did the cardio exercises then?

Should I still do my exercises even when I'm not well?

I was quite feverish last week. I took a mandatory 1 week rest. Thanks victoria

From the way you describe it, you're better off resting for now.

If you think you have the energy, you can still exercise through cough and cold—provided you're not suffering from asthma, or experiencing muscle pains and lethargy. Just don't force yourself if you're really feeling weak or if you're running a fever.
