Last night, I had another pole class and, boy, was it a workout! Our instructor was out sick so we ended up practicing all our stunts and teaching each other other stunts we had learned in the past. We've also been practicing how to ad lib with the pole. This is pretty important to us since we're planning a Pole Dancing showcase in November and really need to practicing the dancing part of pole DANCING. Haha. I really feel great. Being active is just so much fun. I love how my body looks and feels and I love how I can fit into my pants from high school again! I'm still not at my target weight but I think that might be because I've developed more muscles now. Still a few more pounds to lose (9 to be exact) but I'm extremely happy with how pole dancing has been treating my body, bruises and all!
If you don't mind my saying so, I think all of you should find fun and unconventional workouts that you can be passionate about. Every day is a new experience to look forward to. Plus, it's a really good conversation starter! (NOT that I'm against going to the gym or other conventional exercises. The quirky sports just suit my personality more.)

Hi twitch! My classes are cheaper compared to other classes offered in Metro Manila. I pay P2.5k/month but it's all the way in the south. My instructor used to offer classes in Makati. Unfortunately, he stopped those until maybe August. I'll let you know when he resumes classes there! I have a lot of friends in Makati who also want to take. Maybe you'll end up being classmates with them. Haha

Oooh...cool! I have a friend who pole dances as well. She gets so many good feedback each time she posts pics on her facebook. Lol. ^_^
I'm happy for you dear. Hopefully, in a year I can finally take a class myself. I heard it's great for body contouring. How did you get started? Is it costly to maintain the classes?
