3-peat Champions!

I didn't go to dance class yesterday because it was a BIG day for Ateneans. Judgement day had finally arrived. All the blue-blooded people in the office started getting antsy at 4pm. We weren't even trying to hide our Twitter feeds. Our eyes were glued to our screens reading game updates from ateneodemanilau. At 5pm, we bolted out of our seats and speed walked all the way to San Mig Pub down the road. We got there just in time for the second half.

The boys were off to a bad start when FEU had a 9-point lead. But they did not disappoint! They came back strong in the second half and maintained the lead for majority of the remaining time. I'm really no good with sports linggo so I can't give a blow by blow recap of the parts of the game I saw. All I can say is ANG GANDA NG TRES NI BUENAFE!! With only 22 seconds left on the clock and a measly 3-point lead, Ryan Buenafe scored the most amazing 3-pts of the season! At that point, everyone knew it was over. SAY HELLO TO YOUR 3-PEAT CHAMPIONS!

I'm in the office now and I'm all decked out in my Ateneo apparel. I've got my favorite Ateneo jacket on and under that is the Ateneo Sesquicentennial shirt my friend gave me. School pride! I'm so so so happy for the boys and for everyone. Can't wait til the bonfire!
