I already know I'd be a naughty girl this December, but I'm already getting a preview with having to deal with temptation on a constant basis. I'm happy enough that I've been able to totally avoid dessert for even a few days this week, and when I did have dessert again, it was dark chocolate.
I took the day off from work yesterday to apply for a new driver's license at the LTO. I've since resigned myself to the reality that dealing with government agencies requires me to show up early and spend the entire day there. Having eaten breakfast at 4:30 a.m. to be at the LTO early, I was absolutely ravenous by noon, after a long and tiring morning. The first restaurant that my dad and I came across near the LTO was a Chinese restaurant, and I succumbed to an all-fried lunch. I'm not proud of myself, but I have to admit fried food had never tasted so good.
I've also been attending several despedidas, since my best friend is leaving for the US for good. Tapas night was one of those several despedidas. Of course I'm going to want to see as much of my best friend as I can.
Have a great weekend, everyone!
