I'm not a big fruit lover. I pretty much famously say to my friends that if I have to eat sugar, I'd rather get my sugar from cake. I'm not a big fan of fresh fruit, but I will eat fruit in pie form or in any chocolate (or peanut butter)-covered state.
I do have some favorite fruit—and none of them are local. I love all sorts of berries...I miss adding fresh blueberries, blackberries, and strawberries to my oatmeal. Or ordering frozen yogurt with pomegranate seeds. I also adore a fresh ripe peach, none of that canned stuff in syrup, please.
We just got a box from S&R. Mom said she once saw key limes from there too. Those should be great for key lime pie.
How about you, what's your favorite fruit?
Have a great weekend, Belles!
