Have you tried just about anything from meal replacement plans to yo-yo dieting that never worked? Believe me I did! When I gave birth, I expected that I would be able to breastfeed. But for some freaky joke of nature, I was not able to do so. When my baby turned 3 months, I went into diet and I'm guilty to say that I lost quite a lot from taking Zhen de Shou. Today, I shrudder to think about it. But hey, I was tipped the scale @ 140+ lbs. And I wanted to go back quickly to my former slim self.
I did lost a lot of weight alright. But then Christmas, my baby's 1st birthday and New Year 2007 came and after that, I didnt realize I was back to eating too much. Before I knew it I was tipping the scale @ 138 lbs again.
The next thing I did was to put myself under meal replacement plans. I am not bashing those, but it did costs a lot of money. Still I had to give up because I was too hungry just drinking shakes.
When I went to Auckland this summer (it was winter there), I enjoyed it too much. I ate freshly baked pies, scones, etc. Our NZ cook was so good @ it, I wolfed them down daily. Mind you, I had 2 snacks and a lunch.
When I got back though, most of my pants won't fit anymore. I was having irregular menstruation and felt bloated. That's when I decided that maybe I should really put my heart into eating healthy and exercising. I am slowly getting results, but I think that's better than nothing. I aim to be @ 100lbs and I am about 34 pounds away. But hey! This is what we're all here for right? To lose weight and be healthy!
So goodbye to yoyo dieting and meal replacements..hello to eating healthy foods and workout!
