YEY! Im Back!!

Its been a while since I visited this site... I've been hiding, if you must know, because I feel guilty. I've gained weight for the past six months, after the first week doing the belle routine I just gave up and ate my way to 170lbs! (*big sigh*).

But now, I'm back and I'm back with a veangeance! haha! I've started running around August (on and off) and I'm proud to say that I've been part of the 10.10.10 Pasig Run (for 3km only ha) but its a start. And next week, I'll be participating in the UNILAB2 run (my first 5KM marathon). 

Right now, I honestly do not know what my weight is, I am still not confident enough to face the scale (I am still fat and obese and my clothes still won't fit),  but I am encouraged because I feel healthier today. Also, because I know that I am doing something even if its a little step to achieve my goal of living a healthier and happier life.

Birthday slip-up!

WAAAAAAHHHHH!!!!!

I just ate a lot, I mean heaps of "bad" food today (sob!). It's my father's birthday on the 23rd and as family tradition goes we celebrate it on the nearest weekend.

There's grilled tuna,  steamed tilapia and sinigang na bangus (yum!) and of course for the kids there's also lechong manok  plus my tita decided to drop by and gave us her homemade dinuguan. Hmmm, if I list it down it seems that our menu was pretty healthy...

but..but.. but.. there's loads of ice cream! and I ate most of it! wahhhhhh!!! I so love Ice cream. I guess I ate approx. 3/4 of a pint?! huhuhuhu... I just lost 4lbs for last week and now I'm gaining it back again... i just hope that I can work it-off this week...

wow! I just weighed in.. and guess what?! i lost four pounds?!! what the?! is this true? hmm... i'm not sure if this is accurate...but still i'm happy to see pounds fritter away.. (wink! wink!).

to start or not to start?

I just joined belle today. I'm excited to start my water therapy diet tomorrow but i just remembered that i promised my sister that we'll have breakfast tomorrow at this coffee place before office starts.. how should i go about it?Just thinking of the javachip frappe that i was craving weeks ago is making my mouth water, plus the cinammon roll that i so love... I just pray that I can fight the temptation to eat all this bad food...

My name is...

My name is Zayda. I'm 22 yrs old. My goal is to lose 45 pounds this year (I really, really need to lose it). I want to be fit and healthy. I've been struggling with my weight ever since I can remember. I find comfort in eating sweets and junk foods (I fear that I'm just gonna drop dead in the street, have a heart attack or something). I came from a family with a history of diabetes on both sides so that makes double scary. I've been trying to lose weight for so long but I can't seem to keep it up.. I lose 2-4 pounds this week and the next I gain 5.. It's frustrating! I know I need help and I've tried to find it in diet pills and in fab diets but doesn't seem to work for me... If I am to lose the weight I want o do it RIGHT! No more shortcuts. I want to be fit for myself. i want to be able to look in the mirror and genuinely be happy with what I see. i want to be able to say to myself "damn, I look good!" I joined this group because I know that people will understand what I'm going through. I hope to be encouraged to continue with what I strive to accomplish...
